 
Introduction
The KNC M-700 has 3.0 ‘’ QVGA TFT wide screen with 400*240 resolutions. The design is inspired by famous Nokia music phone. It has the ability to play WMA, AVI, RM, and RMVB audio and video files apart from MP3 files. It supports JPG, BMP and GIF image formats. It allows you to read TXT file. It does have a built in speaker, high speed 2.0 USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. Audio and FM radio recording are with high quality. What it attracts me the most is the high quality wide screen. You would probably enjoy watching video with it.
Design:
The design of KNC M-700 is inspired by Nokia music phone. It is black and orange in color, which is smart and fashionable. The material is Aluminium. The whole layout is just very logical. Control buttons are on the left and right hand sides while other functional buttons and plots are on the top. It is just so easy and simple to use.
Screen:
The screen is 3.0’’ QVGA TFT screen with 400*240 resolutions and an aspect ratio of 16:9. It supports full screen AVI /RM/RMVB video playback. Video playback function is good. It can perform almost all functions you can find in some computer media player software. It is simply a great enjoyment to watch video with wide and clear screen.
User Interface:
The whole layout is just very logical. Control buttons are on the left and right hand sides while other functional buttons and plots are on the top. It is just so easy and simple to use.
GUI:
The GUI is text based, and very simple to use -came in chinese and I had no problems finding the setting for English. The main menu has eight functions: Music, Video, Photo, E-Book, Record, Other function (This leads to the stop watch and calender) Media Library and Games.
Audio:
Audio formats supported are: MP3, WMA, FLAC. Synchronize lyric mode is simple and easy to use. It has a very excellent audio playback, has built in EQ with: MSEQ, manual setting, Normal, Rock, Pop, Classic, Bass, and Jazz. Does have multiple playlists, play by: artist, Album, Title, or even make a ‘favorites’ list. The audio quality is surprisingly good.
Video:
The KNC M-700 supports AVI, RM, RMVB video files playback without any problems. The 3.0 inch wide screen format has excellent video resolution, and no lip sync problems of any kind. During playback if a button is pressed it does show the time and current position in the video - after a few seconds, that all disappears and leaves you with an unobstructed view of the video/movie.
Photos:
It handles JPG/BMP/GIF images and it displays them as a list, which you can then: rotate left/right, Zoom in/out, Or put into a slide show. You can enjoy pictures with high quality.
Other Features:
Radio:
FM Radio with 76-108 MHz frequency level. Does have FM recording function. You can save your favorite channels any time.
Games & Tools:
Stop watch and calendar, Classic games like Snack are installed.
Voice Recording:
Record in either low or high quality settings in WAV format. It also supports FM recording.
Text Viewing:
Supports files in TXT format and does have bookmarking so that you can return to where you last left off. Font can be changed in size to make viewing easier, color of the text can be changed and the background / format can also be changed to the users preference.
Accessories:
Items included with the player: USB cable for charging and connecting to a PC, Ramos Headphones and the user manual -that is in Chinese.
Conclusion:
Overall, I was most impressed with the Nokia-like design with better functions than Nokia music phone. The buttons are absolutely smart and user-friendly. The system runs so efficiently. Its audio sounds quality and also the video playback were very good. The simple yet easy to use interface make this player very user friendly. The solid case design and button lay out are also very easy to use and it fits very nicely in the palm of your hand. I would recommend this to most people, keeping in mind it’s ease of use and smart design.
